Iâve officially been back in my home city for just over a week, and it already feels like I never left. The past few days have been a whirlwind of work, catching up with friends, and discovering new spots â in other words, business as usual. Iâm here for a month to reconnect with clients I didnât see during the first trimester (I stayed put in Paris), and soon Iâll be taking a little pause when my husband joins me.
5 things that made me happy this week
Martine de Richeville at Saks Fifth Avenue
Martine de Richeville remains my ultimate beauty secret for feeling physically like myself â as much as possible while pregnant. Her Saks location is a dream, and Fatima, who took care of me, has absolute fairy hands. If youâre looking for the perfect blend of drainage massage, energy work, and something a little more intangible, I canât recommend it enough.

Martine de Richeville, la créatrice du Remodelage
·After hearing echoes from so many women around me about the magic of Martine de Richeville, one of the very first things I did, no joke, once I was officially out of the fog of the first trimester was book an appointment. To my surprise (and delight), I was welcomed by Martine herself.
Sky Ting Yoga (what else)
With the explosion of Pilates studios in Paris, yoga has taken a bit of a backseat in my quotidien. Thatâs why I was so thrilled to return to my practice in NYC with Sky Ting â my all-time favorite studio. The teachers are incredible, the space is beautiful, and the energy is just right.
WTHN Acupuncture
Itâs become a ritual: I almost always pay a visit to WTHN whenever Iâm in town. They offer âeffective, holistic solutions for mind-body wellness rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, made for modern lifeâ â in other words, an easy, reliable way to get your acupuncture fix. Even better: they just opened a new location right across the street from Sky Ting in Noho. Talk about a two-for-one wellness day.
Espresso Cream Latte at Ten Thousand Coffee
Heaven in a cup. This latte from Ten Thousand Coffee is dangerously good, basically a single or double shot of espresso topped with whipped cream (or their version of a cafĂ© viennois). They not have several locations across NYC, so wherever you are, youâre probably close to one. Go.
SAA Building 154 Spa
Last weekend I made the (very long) trek to the SAA Building in Brooklyn. It was definitely an adventure, but worth every step. The building itself is stunning â every detail is rĂ©flĂ©chi. I had booked a leg massage at the 154 Spa, and while I wish I had thought to bring a bathing suit (spa access includes all building amenities, which explains the $50 surcharge for non-members), the treatment itself was wonderful. Highly recommend if youâre in BK and want to treat yourself.
More cool places and things that made me happy coming to your inbox next week. In the mean time, have a lovely Sunday.
