Yesterday, during my Sant Roch class, the guide said something that stayed with me long after I left: “don’t wait.” Simple words that anded deeply.
Don’t wait for the perfect opportunity, the perfect timing, the perfect version of yourself. The time is always now. Our lives are happening in real time, and perhaps the greatest luxury is learning how to fully inhabit the present instead of endlessly preparing for it. It’s something I’ve been trying to cultivate more consciously lately: the ability to enjoy what is already here, instead of postponing joy, movement, or change for some imagined future moment.
This idea felt especially resonant after my conversation with Julia Parsons, whose perspective on growth, intuition, and building a life aligned with yourself echoed that same philosophy in a powerful way.
Julia walked away from what many would consider “having it all” to begin again from scratch. One of the many things she shares in our conversation that I found that incredibly inspiring. She started over because sometimes, even when everything looks just about perfect, something inside you still asks for something different. She leaned into that feeling.
